Come and hear Ken Garrett, renowned National Geographic Photographer, tell us about the Queens of Egypt. Normally, lecturers focus on the male Kings, but Ken has spent 30 years working in Egypt documenting many stories of the great civilization that flourished along the banks of the Nile from roughly 5000BC until the defeat of Cleopatra and Marc Antony in 31 BC.  Ken will take us through an illustrated journey of the Queens of Egypt who were equal to their male counterparts.  You don't want to miss it.
