The Cherry Blossom Cruise of the Potomac includes bus trip to and from the boat, Luncheon and bus driver tip. Cost is $78 per person.
We will be meeting (Wednesday, April 5) our Coach bus in the back parking lot of the Great Falls Library by 10:00 AM and returning to GF about 3 PM.
Once we board the Odyssey and are seated, we will then make our selections for our three-course lunch; the two-hour water cruise begins at noon. A suggested gratuity for the lunch service staff should be based on a cost of $30.00 per person. There will also be a cash bar available for those of you who want sodas and spirits. Coffee and tea is served with lunch.
Despite cold, blossoms’ fate isn’t as bad as it could have been; the remaining buds are expected to fully bloom. Park Service spokesperson Mike Litterst said, those hoping for a spectacular show still shouldn’t be disappointed.
